Champions League Standings 2017

Champions League Standings 2017

The second half of the 2016/17 campaign sees the Champions League final 16 round for this year near and UEFA have crunched the numbers to come up with an all time table.

Based on games won and therefore points accumulated since the introduction of the competition, here's where teams rank in its 25th season.

With Real Madrid being the most successful side in the European Cup before changes were made to the format, they continue to lead the Champions League all time table with five Cup wins since 1993 - but not by much as close El Clasico rivals Barcelona are more than breathing down their necks.

Three Premier League sides feature in the top ten as well but gaps between sides in the table do mean that outside of the top two, it's unlikely many changes will occur in the make up for a few years yet.

The table also shows that Real Madrid take top spot with the most wins (136) by five points but based on playing nine more games than Barcelona who have fewer losses on average (39). Both sides do however share an identical goal difference of +236.

Manchester United take the draw crown with a total of 54 and FC Porto have racked up the most losses across their involvement (54).

The top 15 table is as follows.
